A Breeder Health Assurance
Every bird is accompanied by a limited 72-hour health guarantee. If not, we will provide a full refund of the purchase price or substitute the bird if it is determined to be unhealthy at the time of sale. Conditions and circumstances beyond our control result in the birds' departure from our residence; therefore, we cannot guarantee their return after this 72-hour period has passed. Should your avian veterinarian conduct a health examination within the designated time frame (72 hours) and identify a condition that is either economically untreatable or incurs an irreparable cost, we shall either exchange the bird for one of comparable quality or value, or reimburse your money. In exchange, please return the avian to me accompanied by a letter from the veterinarian detailing the specific symptoms of the illness. This letter must be written on the official letterpad bearing the veterinarian's rubber stamp insignia. A replacement will be provided for the avian, or the entire purchase price will be refunded. Should the bird perish within 72 hours of purchase, its corpse must be promptly chilled (not frozen) in a sealed plastic bag. Additionally, within 12 hours, the bird must be transported to a certified avian veterinarian for necropsy in order to ascertain the cause of death. In the event that mortality is attributed to a congenital hatch defect or viral illness, the purchaser will be refunded the entire purchase price or exchange the bird for a replacement. Additionally, this letter must be printed on the official letter pad of the veterinarian and sealed with an adhesive stamp. We require the death bird photographs and videos, including the identification band, prior to issuing a refund.
It is understood that the Seller is not liable for any veterinary medical expenses, including necropsy fees, or for refunding any shipping costs incurred when the avian was initially delivered to you. Buyer also acknowledges that the Health Guarantee is void if the leg band is removed from the bird. The veterinarian is required to include the band number and the reason for band removal when describing the cause of mortality or illness. Grey African Parrot For Sale
Guarantee
A three-day health guarantee is provided by the purchaser upon request and at the expense of an AVIAN CERTIFIED veterinarian conducting an examination of the avian. In the event that written documentation from an AVIAN CERTIFIED veterinarian substantiating the bird's unsatisfactory health is provided, the purchaser shall promptly return the bird to the breeder and shall be refunded in full of the purchase price. The band number and species must be included in this documentation. During this period, the breeder shall not be liable for any expenditures accrued by the purchaser, including costs associated with returning the avian to the breeder.
Should the bird perish within twelve (12) days of the buyer assuming ownership, it is required that it be confined to a plastic bag, secured with paper towels, and refrigerated (without freezing) until a necropsy can be conducted within seventy-two hours subsequent to the demise. A qualified and licensed avian veterinarian must conduct the examination. All reports must be accompanied by the species and band number and sent to our veterinarian. If necropsy unequivocally establishes that the demise was caused by issues that emerged before the sale, a substitute offspring will be selected from the subsequent brood of the original species that becomes available. The purchaser will be provided with the expense of the necropsy. The breeder shall not be liable for any additional costs and shall not be held accountable for any issues that may arise in other birds; as stipulated in clause 3(a), the customer is solely responsible for quarantining the bird.
In the absence of each of the following conditions, the guarantee is null and void:
Within twenty-four hours of possession, the bird must be quarantined away from all other birds and examined by an Avian Certified Veterinarian.
Birds that are presently owned by you or that have been kept in the same environment within the previous year are required to have health and medical history documentation. This is due to the fact that numerous viruses can persist in the environment for several months following the removal of an infected avian. African Grey Parrot For Sale
